I have not read the book, though I have thumbed through it, but one of the guys on the JEDI-SDL mailing list did read it as was very impressed by the information it provided. Considering that alot of the book refers to SDL.

It is apparently the best book for getting an idea about programming games for Linux.

Yes, I was given it as a present.

It's a simple intro to 'c' game codeing under linux.
It uses the SDL libary for a quick 2D space game.
Touches on scripting AI..

I'm not sure how much of it would convert to Delphi/Kylix in a hurry.
You might find the man pages for the SDL api a little more usful after reading this book.

Armand.

I have this book. Had it for ages.

I posted a review on my site once I'd read through it if anyone's interested.

Even though there's a free version on-line, It's well worth sourcing a copy to have while you code. You can't beat having a paper reference in my opinion.
