Greetings,

I'm currently making a small FPS using my Tracy engine. I've made a technical test available for download:

Some guys told me that the game hangs after walking around for 3 seconds ... eitheir with the OpenGL & software renderer. My problem is that I'm unable to reproduce such bug !

I'm using Win98SE & WinME, and the game is coded under Delphi4. I'm currently wondering if there could be some Delphi4/XP problems ...

Could you please test this beta on your system and tell me if you also hang ? If this is the case, please send me the froogz.log file and your OS version.l

If I select only 1 player, the game just jumps back to the title screen after the loading screen. That's probably a bug.

When i select 2 players, the game runs after the loading screen, for 5 seconds. Then it just hangs. I'm using WinXP Home SP1, and a SiS630 card. My card isn't known for its great OpenGL capabilities, so I've run it in software mode, and I've still got the same problems.

Greetings Viro,

The 1 player game is not yet designed to work (in fact, the game script ends the game when there is only 1 player alive ... that's the case in a single player game lol).

For the 2 player game: On the "Fighters configuration" screen, please hit the right arrow key to display player 2 (which should be Flappy, controlled by computer). Then launch the game and see if the hang still occur. It appears to fix the problem in some case, can you please confirm ?

It works now after I did what you said to do. I killed Flapper. Whee!! :D

Many thanks for your testing Viro. I'm happy to see this problem is fixed.

I'm currently uploading the fixed version, which now supports anaglyph rendering ! (I like those old red/blue glasses lol).
