I have made 2 programs with DelphiX and i'd like to have comments.

1: SlimeWar (name will soon change, since it's in use already)

http://www.cs.uku.fi/~valo/project/slimewar.zip

2: CommCenter (u need someone else with you for this to play)
http://www.cs.uku.fi/~valo/cc.zip

Info about these:
1) If you have played a finnish game called "Liero", you'll like this. It is action-game with lot's of features already. Network play and player-profiles coming soon.

2) This is a program to communicate with 1 or N friends. It can send text-messages, paint-messages, Files, and u can play 2 games with it! X-O has also pretty good AI.

I tried slimewars, but I can't say much about it yet, because I couldn't get past the weaponsscreen...

How does one choose weapons? I don't see any buttons :?

Weapon selection screen is controlled with game-keys, defined at your player controllers.

Ah,... got it now :D

Cool game,... it looks a lot like liero, but you already mentioned that.

The way you handle weapons selection in the game is a bit odd, not sure how you should solve that though... perhaps a different button to cycle through the weapons instead of two seperate buttons. You could also use images to display the choosen weapon.

I'd personally add a little gravity to the guys. Right now you can almost jump (fly) to any part of the map.

I really like what you did sofar, keep up the good work!

Thanks :)

This project has actually moved a bit forward, and it'll soon be called FlexBattle. Next feature will be Network.

What FlexBattle will have or have already: Player profiles, some new 3D-rendered weapons (by my 3D-Editor made with DelphiX), more characters and play-modes...

There were also 3D-BlockBreaker (Tetris in 3D) on my page:

Sorry, no english page yet...
