Over at gamedev.net I saw that Great Games Experiment (http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/) went into open beta recently and decided to make an account there, and maybe some fellow PGD coders will want to do so too.

It's kind of a social network that aims at bringing developers, artists, gamers and so on together on one single platform to interact with. In my eyes this is a great thing, especially as it's free. You get the chance to get in touch with other developers (or gamers and artists) and there are even some well-known people from the game industry over there.

And if we get enough PGD people, we can even create a group to join :)
Edit : I have opened up a group for pascal game developers, feel free to join it here (http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/group/pascaldevs)!

This is part of Garage Games isn't it? All of those screen shots at the top are from the Torque engine games/demos..

I'm already a member of Garage Games, my login doesn't work at TGGE though and my request email is taking forever :(

Managed to get signed up and added myself to the Pascal group, but can't figure out how to add my game to the group :(. Any hints from those of you who have done it successfully?

Do you see the "Edit this group" link at the top right of the description of the group? Click that, edit the games list module and add your game.

Only the group moderators get Edit this group links. So, no I don't see that link :)

Ah, that explains a lot. I'll just add your games by myself then.

Could you also add "The Innominate" then?
Can I add screens myself then?

Firlefanz

I tried to register yesterday.... no confirmation mail yet...

@Firlefanz :
You add games under your profile. There is a button called "add game". If you did that drop me a message (here or at GGE) and I'll ad your game to the game list in the PGD group.

@H?ºhnersch?§nder :
I got my confirmation mail directly after signing up. Maybe your spam-filter took "care" of that mail.

I tried to register using my Hotmail account, that email never arrived.. I think they've got some anti-hotmail code. It worked for my work email though.

Jason, I registered using my hotmail account and had no problems. Only that the message went to my spam box. Take a look there for a message from GreatGamesExperiment (noreply@greatgamesexperiment.com). Also, make sure you un-block all messages from *@greatgamesexperiment.com.

That pretty much goes for anyone that hasn't received the e-mail :)

After entering the third eMail address I finally got the activation mail ...

I signed up to the PGD group.

Very nice guys... way to represent. 8)

Eric, I'm expecting to see Tomb Climber on the site soon! ;)

Hero X and Age Of Wonders should be up there too. I'm sure Dom will get listed as a developer under them. BTW, was AoW2 and AoW:SM not made with Delphi as well?

The Age of Wonders series were developed in Delphi, but I'm not sure that Larry Rose or the other developers are still active members in the community. So you probably won't see them listed :(

I have just added Hero X. The guys from Triumph Studios are still around. So it might be worth sending them and email.

I've been trying to create an account for ages now. For some reason it won't send me the email required for activation.

It only worked for me when I used my gmail account instead of my hotmail account!

Well that blows.

:lol: I doubt that I'll get a response back from my inquiry then, huh? :P (I used my hotmail address as the email to reply to. :roll:)

BTW: If when you start adding games to GGE make sure and mark them as Pascal in the tags area. So far we have 3 :)

Hi,

I just added TombClimber.
I also wanted to add Commando Xenidis and give you a link, but I can't reach the site right now?

Please add to Delphi Games.

I just added all the games you mentioned. Note that I had to create a second games list as (dunno why) GGE only allows 16 entries per game list.

Wow thats weird. :?

Nice job Sascha! :) Did those include the ones I sent to your IM too? I think there was a couple that I didn't yet post here.
