  • Fruity Loops Studio 9.7 Beta

A new 9.7 Beta version of Fruity Loops Studio has been recently released by Image-Line. They have also released their Newtone pitch and time editor. Fruity Loops is created and developed using Delphi. Because of this their tools are currently only available for Windows, but hopefully with the release of Delphi for Mac, this may change. Though the developers working on the tools have also been working with Free Pascal to offer a Mac solution as well.

New features in this new version include:

    • Newtone - pitch correction editor (in beta)
    • Pitcher - Live pitch correction plug-in (beta 2)
    • Preview Playlist Clips - on Stepsequencer
    • Ctrl + Middle Mouse Button - Resize Playlist tracks
    • Playlist - Left + Shift swaps Pencil and Brush tools
    • Piano roll - Shift + H or J cycles through used Channels
    • Project files - Local paths now saved in project

Check out a list of videos on YouTube for a look at new features since FL Studio 9.0 was introduced here.

You can get FL Studio at shop.image-line.com starting at $49.00 USD for their Express Edition or try out some of their more inclusive editions and bundles.
