  • Make Music for your Games with PXTone

Want to make music for your games? Well you should check out PXTone, a sound editor for games by Japanese author Daisuke Amaya. However because it's manual is in Japanese it might be hard to use with these alone. Thankfully, there's a useful 96-page manual on how to use the PXTone program by a fan and enthusiast, Gryzor87. It tells you how to make amazing video game music.

You can get the amazing PXTone sound editor from it's author posted here and you can get the Gryzor87 manual at www.gr87.com in either English or Spanish.

I've just been looking at some videos of PXTone, but I only find bleepish retro gamemusic. I guess that's the main strength of the program. Also, I dont really like the user interface. It may work, but I like some eastethics too.

I prefer Propellerhead Reason. You can do this for example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Ntg-5693Go
