  • A Lightweight IDE for Mac OS X

Don Merlin and his friend 'Ragnemalm' have came up with their solution to developing software with the Free Pascal compiler on the Mac. The Lightweight IDE by these Swedish developers is an easy to use IDE for Mac OS X using either the Pascal, Object Pascal, C, C++ or Objective-C languages. It behaves as a front end for the Free Pascal compiler and GNU C compiler, featuring a multi-window editor with syntax highlighting function pop-ups and error shortcuts.

The IDE takes advantage of both the Carbon and Cocoa user interface technologies. It apparently does not require Xcode to function.

All you Apple developers be sure to check out this alternative environment for game development at www.sourceforge.net.
