In this issue we interview the people behind Magic Storm, take a look at the Asphyre Sphinx library, review so many more games and a whole bunch of other cool things. Don't forget that we also just had a 'Super Cool Summer Screenshot Contest' as well. We will be showing the results inside!

This is the biggest issue yet at a whopping 52 pages of content. So stop reading this news post already and go to www.pascalgamer.com and get Issue #3 now!

Just did a quick read-through (gona take a deeper look at it later this day) and as ususal you did a great job Will! I'll also promote the mag over at delphigl.com. Hopefully for the issue some of our users (we have a lot of interesting projects, though some of them don't use delphi or pascal) will contribute something, and I also thought about putting together an overlook on the german pascal gaming community (including games and maybe short interviews) for the next issue of the PGD mag. So if you're interested in such an article just tell me and I'll be happy to write it.

Thanks guys. Yeah this one was delayed so much it makes me laugh at how adamant I was that it wouldn't be way back in August.

Yes, Brainer your Coder's Block articles are really good. I love that they teach fundamentals, ie. Math.

The screenshot contest was fun, I may have to do another in the future.

That sounds great Sascha. I've always loved having DelphiGL.com as a sister community. Made me want to know how to read and speak German. I think a review of the German community would be really neat. I've looked at some of the more recent projects and they are all very impressive and ambitious.

Hi Nathan, just a completely off topic subject...I had to laugh when I read your article about the new Tube Runner you are working on...

This was because I saw in a screen shot you had there, that you are using a spanner/wrench as the "health" of your racing vehicle, and I am using the same sort of icon for my game The Probe!! hahaha!! LOL

      Gotta love coincidences

      cheers,
      Paul

Hehe.. My idea. It was actually quite easy to do. I made a DeleD model of the wrench and raytraced it to make the picture. As you've probably noticed, I used the same model for the health-powerup.

      Hello Will,

thanks a lot for the new magazine, I read it yesterday.

The issue was great and thanks a lot for our interview and the very nice things you wrote about us. It was a great read, and of course the other parts of this issue too. It is a great idea to have some game reviews in that I think.

Have a nice day all of you :-)
