I'm looking for good-quality, free repeatable textures for 3D rendering. Stuff like wall, floor, ground, and ceiling textures especially. Do you know of any sites which provide them? I know of this one:

I mainly use textures from

  http://www.vb3d.com/Textures.html

Many high quality, often tileable textures. Originally developed by Crack.Com company (authors of "Abuse"). These textures were intended to be used in their next game "Golgotha", but company went bankrupt and they just published these textures. License is public domain (i.e. no license), so no use restrictions. The same textures are also hosted on some other sites, like

These textures have some limitations when using for commercial use:

I just created a new section in the Links section below Game Developers called 'Media Resources'... this includes graphics, sound and music files.

If you have a good site that you think would fit there AND it has an approx. 88x30 banner (the site's link page system requires a tab banner of some sort) then eithe send me a PM, forum post/topic or email me about it.

I use the following program

http://www.spiralgraphics.biz/

"Genetica 2.5 is an innovative node-based seamless texture editor for professional 3D artists.  With effect maps, more than 500 finished texture presets of all types, automatic seamlessness, and unprecedented flexibility, Genetica will help you revolutionize your textures."

The benefit is that
a. the textures look sharp
b. easy to make
c. look consistent with the rest of your textures
