As way of introduction SilverWarior suggested I contact you for some advice.
And, I have no current knowledge, skills, or experience in programming.
I have looked at your web site to get a feel for who you are and what you are doing.
I hope maybe you can give me advice on how to accomplish my goal or tell me to drop it.
I currently play an open source game written in C++ called OpenTTD. I feel it needs some upgrades
I am teaching myself Pascal and learn by doing and stumbling around in the dark.
My thinking is start with a terrain. I want to use an actual rendition of planet earth. I also want to be able to head off in any direction and return to my starting point. Easy enough for left to right not so for north to south or on a diagonal.
My first thought was I need a sphere.
So my question is did you use a sphere to create your game or did you use some magic for traversing your terrain?
I do hope you are willing to share your secrets with me.
Hey, welcome to the new site! Ready to make your first post, New announcement or blog?
