    but are points added if you include sources?

    are there a memory limitations?

    what if you load fully 3d models but lock the camera to a side or top down view and only let it move on 2 axis? does that count as 2d?

    and are new things like pixel shaders allowed?

    Anything within reason. Judges all have at least 128mb of RAM.

    As long as it doesn't noticably look like something that would be impossible in a game of the timeframe mentioned.
