Hey guys! Do you need music for your games to spruse them up?
Well then go ahead and announce it in this thread. We are trying to attract more musicians to the site for your development teams to interact with and wecome them into our game development community. So reach out to them and place your requests here!
In preperation though, I'd recommend the following things to help them get modivated:
1) Visuals... Music and visuals must sync. You can create the art to the music, but often the musician has a hard time protraying your thoughts blindly. Concept art, actual game demo/prototype, game backdrops, etc... somethingto give them the visual portion of the mood of your game.
2) Try to get a vauge idea of what kind of mood you will want. Spooky, Bouncy-Happy, Adventerous, majestic, etc...
3) Either pan out and be sure of deadlines OR have a near finished project. Nothing cheeses off a musician more than spending their blood and sweat on a wonderfully composed peice only to have it slid under the mat and unused. It's a sad sad waste.
