A free tool that can load DirectX X files?

Hello,

I need a tool, if possible freeware.

Not to complicated, I only need to load an existing X File, then play around with the Material values (and maybe Textur-coordinates) and then save it.

Any idea?

Blender is free but not sure about it loading x files.

Good old DelphiX can load .X through retained 3D mode. I guess it would be possible to further save the structure to other format.
