Had a fairly eventfull week-end, for me anyways, as I usually have really boring stay at home ones.
First my son turned 9 and he wanted to sky dive ( tandem ) as a birthday present so we did that on Monday. If you can be bothered to download a 52MB DivX ( 400x320 ) you can see me go out the plane first, before he comes out.
Secondly when I flew back to London last night, when we landed, the smell of an electrical fire/short circuit swept through the cabin with some alarms sounding. The captain spoke over the PA and said "Hi everyone, there is no need to worry, please remain in your seats, we are investigating that smell of burning and the fire brigade will be with us shortly." Soon we we had 3 fire engines around us and they accompanied us as we taxied to our allocated gate.
Thirdly, I volunteered to appear in an unknown band's music video a couple of weeks ago. The band is called Shiver and the song is called On My Way. Anyway, the music video is finally done I appear in the video for about 3 seconds and you can watch it here!. Look out for the guys who appear on the second floor.
