Hey Nuno instead of using word "newbies" you should rather use word "newcomers". Why?
Because word "newbie" is commonly used for referring to people without knowledge in certain area. But we don't know the level of game development knowledge of these newcomers so referring to them in such way might be seen as offensive even thou I'm sure that wasn't your intention.

Now I'm also not a native English speaking person but it seems that my English might be a tad bit better than yours
