On the 20th of May 2007 we are having a Game Developer get together at my house. Bring your own computer and the software you use to make games.
Basically we have a chat from a knowledgable person and then everyone works on a game theme. The session lasts for about 8 hours and then we all look at each others efforts and make comments.
Everyone who wants to make games is welcome. People who come expecting a Gaming LAN will be dissapointed.

If 2 guys can use XNA to write a basic 3D RPG ( with full shader lighting ) in 4 days from scratch, I think it would be possible to create something basic and fun in eight hours if you are fully focused. If nothing else a basic prototype.
I'm sure you, Dirk, have created some usefull and probably excellent stuff for your games in 8 eight hours. Especially if you are *in the zone*.

I agree, 8 hours is plenty. I for sure can't make it, however, since I live in CanadaThis sounds like a good idea, though.
