    I think you can use FPC with gumstix (http://www.gumstix.com/) since it has Linux installed

    There are some non-Delphi books around that I've seen. When I have a bit more time I'll post them up here for you. One in particular was written by one of the developers of FPC it's self.

    Search for essential pascal.

    Also the Free Pascal reference guide is a great resource. I own a shelf of Delphi books (including manual sets), but also use the FPC ref guide at work because it is fast, webbased etc.
