the procedural techiques I've used so far haven't moved into texturing yet, but I would be heppy to go over how I generate the procedural planets in alert fighter if people are interested :?:

I understand the whole generic setup with the random seed and a few factors, but beyond that I probably couldn't tie it into a single application. But I must admit that I'm very interested.
Take a look at werkkzeug (on that same site). It is the editor they use to procedurally create their demos. You will get a good idea of how everything is built from basic building blocks.
