I'm not sure whether this is a good idea or not.

I see this as a potentially massive security hole..

Allowing this activeX control to run will allow potentially unsafe code to be run on your machine.. (I gues that the same can be said for downloading and running) but at least your Anti-Virus software has a chance to check out the software before you run it.

This also falls down if the end user has turned off ActiveX controls because of security concerns.

If I want to play a web game, I'll play a flash or Java game . At least it's reasonably safe and cross platform. ActiveX is M$FT only.

Sorry if this sounds like I'm Naysaying, Just offering a point of caution. Feel free to disregard.
