    eSpeak text to speech engine

    Hi guys,
I found the other day this site http://espeak.sourceforge.net/ which is about eSpeak a compact open source software speech synthesizer for English and other languages, for Linux and Windows.

I am going to see if I can interface it via Delphi/Freepascal - when I get time ;-)

    cheers,
    Paul

lol... i check the sample  A poem read by a fast computer voice
It's quite good, but i couldn't understand it all, because he read it too fast, but i'm sure the speed is a variable factor.

    Good luck porting it!

Cool, I once used the MS Speech API. For text to speech and speech to text.

Let us know when you have a working example .
