@Anyone Interested: Updated one more time, just a few minor tweaks. Here is the current list of supported chunks:

  • IHDR - PNG Header
  • PLTE - Color Palette Chunk
  • IDAT - Image Data Chunk
  • gAMA - Gamma Correction Chunk
  • tEXt - Text Chunk
  • zTXt - Text Chunk
  • iTXt - Text Chunk
  • bKGD - Background Color Chunk
  • tRNS - Transparency Chunk, updated for proper support now
