I actually didn't get a cake this year.

My fiance had a headache and we were on a small road trip the day before so she didn't have time. But we did go for ice cream. Great new place in town, where they take the ingredients and hand mix them together with these metal scoops right in front of you on a sheet. Fresh waffle bowls too. Really good stuff, ever heard of 'Cold Stone'?

Cold Stone? I had a look at their website and wished they were here in Australia...they sound great!! Drool....

Yeah small town like mine so far north, we're lucky to have one. At least Edmonton isn't too far from here. Though 3 hour drive one way still makes for a long travel.

'Cold Stone' has stores in 10 countries, and they are aggressively trying to get franchises opened up in Australia amongst other countries

I won't hold my breath though LOL
