My best picture is a retarded stick figure lol how could i improve mainly with using software. Im only looking to paint/draw simple things though i like mspaint the way it is :P pity it doesn't have layers but meh oh well.

For geometric shaped things like houses and boxes try Milkshape 3D (I just wish it had a nice orthagonal view window that didn;t distort by distance)
For people try Power if you can find a copy.
If you just want sprites to use in your games try

Ahh all i want to draw mostly is 2d characters for my games i have some ideas but when it comes to gfx im just hopeless :(

Make a model and take a 2d rendering of the model :)
Make a figure in Poser and take a render - then use it in a game. I dont do any 3D stuff but thats how I make my stuff :)

A good set of forums for pixel artists is Pixelation (http://pixelation.cjb.net/). Just be careful how you go about requests as you can imagine they get requests quite often. And not in the most thought out way sometimes.

HEy thanks for that that pixel artist ones looks interesting so far look's like i got myself something to do for awhile :)
