Since we're all here due to a love for pascal and games I made a wallpaper for all of us:
http://img102.exs.cx/img102/9504/4b-pascal-Rocks.th.jpg (http://img102.exs.cx/my.php?loc=img102&image=4b-pascal-Rocks.jpg)
Rate it if you would so I can get an idea of how you like it. 'Tis te season to advertise, so I put the DGDev url in the document. The code is from my recent project.

Enjoy! :D

Nice work! :)

If I ever really bothered to see the background on my desktop I would download it ;)

No but it's easy to resize. I'll upload a 1600x1200 one tomorrow so everyone can use it.

1280*1024 isnt the same aspect ratio :(

Don't want to make it 1280 * 768 for those of us with widescreen.

:D Can do ... didn't really get the difference in aspect ratio there. Sorry.

I've been having some problems with Photoshop, so I may have to reformat+reinstall to work on sizes bigger than 1024x768. It's due to the language tools, though I'm the only one to ever report a problem like this.

Good ideea, Borland released one for Delphi, why not one for Pascal :)

Ok, after a very neccesary reformat I can work on the wallpaper a bit more now.

Just so you know, it's distortion-free in a 1280x1024 resolution.

I wouldn't mind seeing one with the new net address. ;)

I had forgotten about this, but I was too busy yesterday to do anything about it. Today I might make a new pack with varying sizes, and of course the new url. ;) It will depend, however, on if I finish skinning my site today ... though I don't see why I wouldn't.

The dl this time will be in a zip format, and contain 1024x768, 1280x768, 1600x1200, 1400x1050 resolutions in a high quality Jpeg.

My desktop has now been Pascalified! Thanks!

A few items of critique:

-> "for programming games in Pascal" looks kind of awkward. How about "for Pascal game development"? or "game programming"?

-> Mispelt "illustrated" on the rightside vertical text

-> As others mentioned, an updated link to PGD would be preferrable :P

All in all, cool work! I really enjoyed scanning through your project's code tidbits. ;)

Now there's 1024x768, 1280x768, 1280x1024, and 1400x1050. And I won't be making a 1600x1400 unless someone really wants it...

Ok get the updated version at my site here: Download (http://www.thewickedflea.com/index.php?id=22). (Please note I have not skinned my site yet, as that's in the works.)

Thanks for the critique, the 1024x768 is untouched right now ... but I'll fix the spelling error. The first point though is going to be a slight pain ... as I've now 4 copies of increasing size (file size too!). The dl is only 900k with the 4 dimensions.

The code I used just displays a plane built out of an array 16x16 in size, and some basic lighting. Quick Screenie (http://img109.exs.cx/my.php?loc=img109&image=screenshot23fr.jpg).
