lod__ is working on the GLScene port, optimising, etc. but as you can see it's already usable.
We hope this will give a boost to game programming in Lazarus/FPC on all platforms.
WILL try downloading the screenshot as it doesn't seem to be displayed properly http://www.bluelightning.go.ro/download/glscene_linux.jpg
There are other good news too, a new version of Lazarus will be released soon and GTK2 support is getting better, we might even have a 64 bit version soon ;)

I mentioned about a week or more ago that GLScene was now working in Lazarus, there was even a news post about.

Savage you did, only it didn't work in Linux at the time :)
lod__ (the one from IRC) succesfully made the port to Linux only a few days ago as he couldn't get a valid X11 handle from the TWincontrol on wich GLScene is based, now he's working on optimisations.

Thanks for the clarifications Lightning
In the post, the screenshot thumbnail doesn't work.
403 Forbidden "You must supply a local referer to get URL '/download/glscene_linux.jpg' from this server."
That's what I get when trying to look at the screenshot.
