I 've never believed that converting the original Doom C source code to Delphi could be possible until now. I started Doom to Delphi Total Convertion about six weeks ago and totay is the first day that I release the Delphi Doom source code!

Pick it up here: http://www.geocities.com/jimmyvalavanis/applications/delphidoom.html ('http://www.geocities.com/jimmyvalavanis/applications/delphidoom.html')

It 's a very early version of the project, music and networking not implement yet, but the source code compiles and runs!!

Code contributions from Delphi experts is welcome!!

Please post replies to his actual forum thread ('http://www.pgd.netstarweb.com/viewtopic.php?t=1937').

Sweet. Now someone can write up some articles based on this port, like me with Quake II :P

Do you need the full game to run it? Because don't own it. I'll have a peek at the source though.

id say you would only need the demo WAD file to run it

You can download the original shareware game from http://www.pcgameworld.com/details.php/id/48, which should be enough to get the files required to play this port.
