A few days ago I posted an item on a game called GearHead by Joseph Hewitt. I incorrectly stated that it was a text based game only. This was however incorrect! :? In fact there is a graphical SDL version of the game and the graphics really aren't too bad.

Declaired as one of the first Mech-based Rouge-type RPG games, GearHead seems to have been creatively designed and makes for a pretty cool Mech-based RPG. It's even cross-platform too! :) Available for both Linux and Windows!

Did I forget to mention that the source compiles under Free Pascal not Delphi? :o

I believe so.

I've been tracking this since version 6xx or so, roughly mid-june last year, and his progress is astounding. It's actually quite a challenging game. For those who like the nostalgic look the ASCII version is availible too.
