Hi,

This is an older game I was working on. Thinking about pulling it out of the woodwork and finishing it (more levels, options screen, credits screen, various other things).

download:

its all 2d using powerdraw and delphi 4. cool environmental particle effects, los, realtime lighting and some other stuff (its a while ago now).
it has a bug in it which will crash the game occassionally on changing levels. no idea... i think its a dynamic array list index problem somewhere.

music is tribute to the old metal gear solid games...

what do you think?

I think you ought to update/finish it. It's worth the effort, as I think it'd be great!

Like I said at Turbo. It's a very cool game. Definitely worth the download and a couple hours of your time.

And yes, you should finish it :)

That is some really nice polish you've put into that one, especially for an unfinished product it looks ace. I did encounter the crash during level change . [Invalid Float Operation] was the error I received with which doesn't sound like a dynamic array problem but I'm sure you know better than I do since you wrote the thing. I would like to see you finish it as I think it could have potential as a money spinner for you which can only be a good thing for Delphi/Pascal game dev in general especially if you make a point of letting everyone know what language it was written in, perhaps somewhere in the credits. Nice work.
