Some time ago, i found this unit that alowed me to make my delphi application play computersounds like those in the old games. I've lost the unit and can't find it again. Is there somebody out there that know wich unit I'm talking about? If so, could you please link me to the unit? pleeeease...

There?¢_Ts no way we could know. By computer sound you perhaps mean midi, MediaPlayer component can play them, or perhaps you mean using the PC speaker, I?¢_Tm sure there was a component for that at Torry?¢_Ts Delphi Pages (www.torry.ru), but it?¢_Ts down at the moment.

That would help in that OnGameDev Retro competition. Not only would the game look pre-'88, but it would sound pre-'88 too. :)

You know... there isn't enough posts about sound and music in the forums. I'd like to hear about some of the stuff you are doing ie. tricks and algos for your sounds and/or music. :)

I prefer that people supply their own sounds, like when you read books. :)

Ok, so I'm nowhere near adding sounds to my little game. Where would one get sounds of car engines?
