I've recently been developing the input polling system for my engine. Coincedentally I also purchased a new keyboard very recently too. I've found that my new keyboard doesn't seem to be able to handle as many multiple key presses as my old one. I'm wondering how to go about handling this. I am not planning on using a myriad of keys at one time but I don't want to find myself restricted in what I can and can't do just because some people have shoddy keyboards (myself included it would seem). I dare say this is a hardware issue but surely pro devs find ways round it, what are they?

There?¢_Ts no way around it - keyboards suck, and newer ones with extra keys seem to suck even more. Here?¢_Ts (http://www.sjbaker.org/steve/omniv/keyboards_are_evil.html) an article on that.

The keyboard is PS/2, I didn't even think of that. Anyone able to test for any difference between USB and PS/2? BTW, cheers Paulius that article made for an enlightening read.
