Just realized, but I made the library on my article (http://thewickedflea.com/bbs/index.php?topic=121.msg810#msg810) on what not to do with your project.

I'm quite surprised about that, but, wow. I wrote that when I was feeling a bit down, so forgive the depressed viewpoint, but I did learn alot from that project. Especially not to give up. I gave up far too soon, and would have had a better product if I had slowed development slightly and planned things, instead of just throwing stuff in.

But that was a long time ago now, and when I was just beginning to program.

I'm to blame or that. ;)

I was reading it and thought... "This is pretty darn good!" so up it went. Sometimes even our failures are great lessons to others, if we have the guts to share them.

I agree with WILL.

Thanks for the compliments.

Sorry to say, but I lost my whole site because my webhost's datacenter burned. I'm looking for better hosting and once I get it, will upload the forum and restore it from my last backup. So the article is inaccessible for a bit.

Ok, I'm now rehosted and the forum is back online. The article should be in the old place, just like before. The front page is just a placeholder, I'm getting a friend to draw me a flea for the banner, seeing as it's my nickname, and once she's done I'll have a whole new front page.

Just a warning but I'm in the midst of forum software/url relocation. After some very strange 404/403 errors related to sessions timing out in 3ms, or something like that, I decided it wasn't worth trying to solve the problem. I'm no PHP/server guru...

So the new URL for the article is: http://forums.thewickedflea.com/showthread.php?tid=8&action=lastpost
