The <a class='topicAuthor' href=http://www.igda.org' target='_blank'>IGDA</a> (International Game Developers Association) released their new game developer demographics report two days ago. This report is a survey to get more information on how the game developement industry "looks" like.
If you take a look at the numbers ('http://www.igda.org/diversity/report.php'), you'll see that it's "dominated" by white males with an average age of 31 and an average of 5.4 yeas in the industry. So contrary to what most people thought, the industry isn't made up of youngsters, so many of us still have time to get their things packed and to enter this industry ;)
