Totally free, none limited RasVector. The powerful, fastest, easy to use Raster To Vector Tool.

New Feature: Making Assorted Thumbs Collections

1. In [File] / [Raster Batch Conversion].
2. Add source files to StringGrid.
3. Select a target file in stringGrid.
4. Press [Make Thumbs] to start generating.

4 mode of Vectorizing function
http://dan59314.myweb.hinet.net/pic/AllVecDemo_s.jpg

Features:

1. More powerful than Algolab Photo Vector, 20 times faster than Adobe Streamline in conversion speed. Since it is unbelievable fast, real time preview Vectorizing result is available only in RasVector. Further more, By adjust varied parameters making plentiful results.

2. User Friendly. There are 4 basic conversion modes: Cad/Gerber, Pen-Drawing, Water-Painting, Photo. Need only a Click, you will get interesting effect in a flash.

3. Support tens formats of Image File Import. Mmiscellaneous Raster Image Process function. By apply varied functions previously, you can convert it to unique Vector Image. The only limitation is your creativity. Surport *.Bmp, *.Jpg, *.Gif, *.Wmf output.

4. Batch Vector Conversion. Unbelievable? Believe it. Since RasVector is fast enough. Only RasVector can do it so far. Output *.AI, *.DXF, *.Gbr.

5. Batch Raster Conversion. Add Image Effect to many files and output on the fly.

6. Operation marcro recorder and player. You can record your operation, save to file, reload and play.

7. .....Many others. Keep updated in http://home.kimo.com.tw/dan59314

8. Totally free, full-functioned, none-limited.

Supported Language: English, Traditional Chinese.

Tested the program :)

Here're some comments:
1) The interface is a bit hard to use (for instance, most options in Vectors menu - who knows what they do).
2) When using batch mode, was unable to get a decent raster->vector conversion.
3) Can't really judge performance with other programs (since don't use them), but vectorizing 2000x1500 photo it took quite some time (about 2 mins) on P4 2.4 Ghz. Macromedia Flash took about 3 seconds to vectorize the same photo (it looks different though and I don't know if performance is affected by vectorization options).

In overall, the application seems very promising, so keep up good work :)
Btw, what compiler did you use to create this?

Hi, LifePower,

Thanks for your comments. I will keep improving it.

>> 1) The interface is a bit hard to use (for instance, most options in Vectors menu - who knows what they do).

Yes, that's true, I've been thinking remove some functions and writing the help in the near future.

>> 2) When using batch mode, was unable to get a decent raster->vector conversion.

Because there are many settings for conversion, actually user can adjust kinds of parameter in Setting Dialogs to get more than 4 mode results. So it's hard to put all settings in batch dialog. So I made some constant in batch conversion.

>> 3) Can't really judge performance with other programs (since don't use them), but vectorizing 2000x1500 photo it took quite some time (about 2 mins) on P4 2.4 Ghz. I only compare to Streamline, Alogolab PhotoVector, I don't have Flash. There may be some tricks flash did before converting, like reduce image size to get roughly image and then converting, or colors grouping.....etc. I can't know. Can you send me your original image and the vector file (*.AI)? Email shown in Rasvector....

Thanks again for your kind comments. : )

Kind Regards, Daniel

I improved the conversion speed a lot, 1500*2000 takes less than 3 seconds now in my P4 1.3 Ghz notebook.

Greets, I'm not sure what did Flash, but as I said, its vectorized image looked very different - in "flash" style, but it wasn't bad (I could make an "anime" out of myself ). The image I tried was a photo of me in a party, so I'd rather not show it :)

Still, you're doing a really great work, keep it up :)

Edit: Also, my knowledge is rather limited in vectorizing images, since I only use it rarely in Flash to get a shape of some icon or object. Nothing advanced.
