Tarja leaves Nightwish

Yes, this is an off-topic for those who ever heard Nightwish (http://www.nightwish.com). It is an excellent metal band with the best female vocals I have ever heard. Not a long ago, I have been to their live concert, as part of Loud'n'Louder festival (along with Therion, Rage, Overkill and The 69 Eyes).

The sad news are that the band is kicking Tarja, the female vocalist, out of the band. Although she did not write actual song text, I think she gave unique feelings and taste to Nightwish music and the band will not be the same without her. :cry:

Judging from the letter she had it coming for a long time and was way beyond sitting and talking over a beer. Unfortunately most people identify Nightwish through Tarja, rather poor background male vocals don?¢_Tt help there, hope they can find a replacement which won?¢_Tt turn them into just another power metal band with overused synthesizers.
