Can anyone show me how to create a text overlay that will display over a full-screen directx capable game Thanks in advance!

i forgot to post a Sample... i would like to show a clock.. just the numbers...

As Fraps(program that shows FPS) or as TeamSpeak OverLay(shows who is talkin in TS)..
