New release of Castle Game Engine 4.1.1 (http://castle-engine.sourceforge.net/) is available http://forum.lazarus.freepascal.org/Smileys/ExcellentSmileys1/smile.gif It's a cross-platform open-source 3D engine for FPC/Lazarus.
Together with new engine version, we also release new view3dscene 3.13.0 (http://castle-engine.sourceforge.net/view3dscene.php). view3dscene is our "Swiss army knife", a browser/viewer for 3D files using our engine underneath.
For developers, the main page with engine sources and documentation is here (http://castle-engine.sourceforge.net/engine.php).
New in this release:
Mac OS X native look (using LCL based on Carbon underneath)
Networking (http, more complete data URI, use everywhere URLs and MIME types), see developer docs about this feature (http://castle-engine.sourceforge.net/tutorial_network.php)
Clipboard
Various new X3D features: CAD level 2, MultiTexture.function, NavigationInfo.transitionComplete.
