Massive congratulations go out to LifePower, who's entry InnerFlux ('http://www.afterwarp.net/misc/InnerFlux.rar') won first place in the Text-Mode Demo Compo 8 ('http://www.taat.fi/tmdc').

There were other Pascal entries, but his came first!!! This is what the judges had to say...

Congrats LifePower. If only it would run on my Athlon 800 :(

Any chance of making an AVI of it available so those of us who can't run it can see it? I ask, because I checked out the TMDC site yesterday... saw the winner had been announced and downloaded it... fired it up and *boom* Illegal instruction I think, so I deleted... didn't even read who's entry it was..

The demo uses SSE/SSE2 instructions, some of which may not be supported on your CPU. I've compiled non-SSE version (which will run slower in most parts - since 90% of the demo is 3D), but your CPU is below minimal requirements, so it may run very slowly. Let me know if it runs ok now (I think I replaced all SSE-based code).

That is awesome. Nice job. Based on the demos I looked at... a deserving winner IMHO.
