While checking through the list of competitors I visited some of their websites. As such, I came across the Darthman ('http://www.darthman.com/') Russian ( please correct me if I am wrong ) site.
It has quite a few examples of Delphi being used with OpenGL and DirectX, like within the demo scene ('http://www.darthman.com/demoscene.html') and of course games ('http://www.darthman.com/games.html'), which all look very professionally done.
