Hi artists and all, I need a small 16x8 pixel Bi-Plane animation for a mobile phone game.
I already have one that shows a 2 frame propeller rotation, but it's a too flat and needs better shading eg I'm crap at art otherwise I would do it myself.
Actually something based on this image
http://wings.avkids.com/Book/Vehicles/Images/biplane.gif would be excellent.
I can send the one I have at the moment if anyone is interested.
So in summary I need a 2 frame flying animation maybe with some smoke type effect coming from the engine bay. I also need a 1 frame landed image, so just tilting upwards slightly with the tail down. Due to size, they need to be 256 colours max.

If I have not provided enough information please let me know.

I think I might be able to help you with that. I stil have the planes from the previous competition. With a bit of tweaking I could turn it into a byplane.

I'm insanely busy though in the next 8 days so, if you're willing to wait till then...

16x8 is really incredible small. I have toyed around with Paint and here is my result:

Hmm, 16x8 ehh. Hadn't thought of that, but with graphics that small I'm not entirely sure a 3d render is going to do much good.
Are you sure those numbers are correct?

Yes 16x8 is correct. I'm not sure a 3D package will do it either. It essentially needs a pixel pusher.

Thanks Ian,
I'll load it up and see what it looks like.

Sure, and tell me if you need the two seperated bitmaps.

Here is a the landed plane as well:

I have added some ground but the plane itself fits 16x8 pixels
