Intel is holding a game programming contest! Yes, another competition. :o

For those of you NOT involved in the 2006 PGD Annual, this would be a great opportunity to try to win yourself a piece of the $80,000 USD in prizes! They are giving away PCs and PC hardware to those that produce "the best game demos that showcase the features and performance of Intel platforms".

Benefits of participating are; serious cash, powerful PCs, software tools, and great exposure.

You may enter under one of two categories:
* Best Threaded Game
* Best Game on the Go (Mobile Gaming Technology)

Might be a great place to start on your first MIDletPascal project? And I would wonder how well Free Pascal would help in winning the Best Threaded Game prize...

Contest begins March 22nd, 2006. Entry forms must be received by July 1st, 3:00pm PST 2006. Movies must be received by August 15th, 3:00pm PST 2006. Entries (executable programs) must be received by August 25th, 3:00pm PST 2006. A list of winners will be published on this website on September 1st, 2006.

Should make for an interesting challenge for the more advanced programmers within the Pascal community. But not quite as juicy as the PGD Annual. ;)
