This is a rumor I've heard from a friend:

Delphi 5 is now free according to him, It should be downloadable from the borland site somewhere and according to him I can just use it commercially without paying anything to borland.

Is this truly a free version with no strings attached? If so, where can I get it.
If not, which version is the latest truly free version of Delphi and where can I download that one?

It's for that OpenGL project I'm making for my internship.

The only list of Free Pascal compilers that I am aware of can be found here - http://www.thefreecountry.com/compilers/pascal.shtml

Delphi 5 is not mentioned

Hmmm, that brings up another question.

Do those compilers have the OpenGL headers and those standard delphi headers included?

Talking about uses windows,system,math, etc...

If so, it's just what I'm looking for :D

I may want to make a little profit off this project, so I had better be careful about copyright and licensing...

Currently using:
OpenGL
FMod (gotta find me a substitute which also features wav & ogg support without using media player or other dlls which need to be installed externally).

The rest is all delphi stuff.

I think you really need into trying to use FreePascal. That sounds like it may be your best bet.
