As SuperVegeta has pointed out, the PGD database has been accessed and dumped.

The site will be going down for an upgrade. All users will have their passwords expired to force a reset during the next login cycle when the site is bought back on-line.

Passwords are stored as salted hashes within the database, but you would be advised that if you use the same password elsewhere to change them at your earliest convenience.

The PGD database has been accessed and dumped. I have set everyone's password to expired and you should be required to login again forcing a reset of your password. If not, please change it ASAP.

It was apparently access in Jan/Feb of this year by an actor called "Crime Agency" using an exploit on older vBulletin versions. The site has been upgraded, so I hope this will not occur again.

Passwords in the database are stored as a salted hash which means they are not in clear text, but you would be advised to change any logins on other on-line services that shared the same password.

In future, if anyone becomes aware of this sort of thing, please email me directly or PM me (I will receive an email) rather than post openly about it.

I should add, I experienced numerous issues during the upgrade process with the script simply stopping. I am unsure about cause, but suffice to say it's been a pain in the posterior. If you find any issues with the site, please tell me immediately via PM and I will endeavour to get them rectified as soon as possible.

Yuss thank you very much - it only would of been a matter of time before the list ended up in a bot somewhere. Pascal Game Development and Viagra would of been an unusual mix lol

That actually happened many moons ago. The site got hacked and served an entirely different page to all the search engines, and we had a root script on the site. Hell knows how it got there, but took me an age to work around it. And by many moons, I mean years and years ago.
