Double question

Hey, since this is off topic, I got two questions for you guys:

1- I was thinking about getting an IPod, but I was told it wont let me listen to 'illegal' music. By that I mean music that I already have on my computer that I got frm friends' CDs. Is it true?

2- Does any1 know of a free blog space that lets you download exe files? the idea is tht i wanted to put my programs (nt source, jst the executable) on a blog. Any ideas?

1. yes and no.. you can always replace the original firmware (http://www.rockbox.org/)

Rockbox, ay...
Is that like an operating system, which replaces the ipod's and lets you play any music, without copyright protection? Did I get it right :P ?
But that's only for G4 ipods, which is to say those with videos or pictures, is tht correct?

I really like the idea, bt the ipod I was looking for is a 40GB one, without video or pics. Any1 got anything that would work on those???
