Here are last year's Excellence Awards winners and their prize mugs!

Dirk Nordhusen with Best Graphics and NecroSOFT's Michiel Gijbels & Frank van Gent with Best Music & Most On Time are shown above. Aleksej Borisov's Most Innovative mug however had an unfortunate boating accident. :? However both the boat and Aleksej unlike the mug remained intact. ;)

Let this be a lesson folks; Never leave your yacht keys in your mugs... Lend them your Yaris instead. :P


Last year's designs were by Alexander Rosendal aka Traveler. This year however, I will be taking up in his place to design this years Prize mugs.

My first thought was "Who the heck did they put on the front page of PGD?" quickly followed by a "Either this is a poor joke, or WILL coerced someone into an advertising shot."

Not having met any of you in real life makes a picture come as an initial shock. Of course, then realizing it was DIRK up there, not some unshaved bum off the streets (*cough*), I had to sit back and laugh. I sure had my initial "Oh..." moment, trying to figure out just who you were! :lol:

But Dirk, compared to the others you don't look half bad. Michiel and Aleksej look possessed! It's not hard to remove red-eye you know... :P

Sorry if I'm a little brutal today, I'm in a bit of a ... "bite me" mood.

Oops, wrong names. I quick skimmed for them and picked the wrong ones. :D Sorry.

But still... Michiel and Frank look possessed! Remove that evil Tron glow, WILL-boy! Or I will use you in a match of human curling! We had a big ice storm in the east coast of the USA, my whole yard is 2-3 inches of solid ice!

Makes me glad that we took the 2 hours to snowblow the whole driveway while it was wet snow, not ice. :P
