Nice. But I have to say: It works surprisingly good. I mean, programming voice recognition is very hard. And neither notepad nor the Vista voice recognition are intended to be used for writing code, I think.

wow... that's really cool:)

But writing code using it will be a pain in the ass because of all the brackets and semilicons and capitals :D . I think in most cases typing will turn out to be faster.

But it's an impressive piece of technology, that's for sure 8)

even writing normal text is hard. but he needs to learn the undo command ;)

lol... I could imagine to code Delphi like that... it would take a whole day to make a program that just says 'Hello world!'

Indeed getting anything typed via voice to text would take ages, but if you had to pick a language to do it, Pascal would be a much nicer choice than C.

Mind you... you can make voice detection more accurate by training the voice profile to match your speech. But from what I've seen, it take a LOT of training and attention.

It would ofcourse help if he stoped talking to himself. How should the computer know when to write and when not to write?

Though it's not working 100 % I still thinks it's amazing how the computer can recognize words.
