My friend and I are making a Called Nefarouse Dark Prophersy. The game is set in celtic times. It is about a dark sorceres named Nefarouses. Who wants to for fill a dark prophersy and make land of nefaroses his domain and steell the dragon crystles of nefarouses. Tha game is a RPG . You choos eight chartors from dragons to elfs to dwalfs. Do quest. Cast spells and go up levels. It has a good story line. Lots of different lands, monsters. Set in the lush land of Nefarouses. It is 3D RPG. My friend and I are Making the Game Enging. With Delphi Ver 6.0 and doing the charictors with 3d studio max and creating the textures with Adobi Photoshop CS. The buildings with autoCad. Pleas Tell Me what you think of the Idea I am using DirectX from clooties Web Site I find it easy to work with.

You may as well use 3D Studio for your buildings too.. although how are you going to do them? Meshes or CSG? For Constructive Solid Geometry , You'll be better off with something like the World Craft or Hammer editor or similar ,They make Quake compatible levels which can be used as buildings if your engine is powerful enough... they're what the Torque engine uses for interiors due to their efficiency, they do have a down side though, it's really hard to make really cool, intricate detailed maps to today's standards.

I've never heard of Autocad being used as a building editor for games.
