So far on medium I've not been able to make it to 50 yet. :?

There is some kind of balance to placing air and ground defenses. And don't forget to upgrade your towers or the dark guys will likely just waltz past your towers. :)

It depends on the level. Easy is well.... easy. Made it to level 30 without much problems. After that it does indeed get a bit harder.

While playing I did spot a little hack (cheat) that allows you to kill the critters a lot easier. If you dont want to know about it, don't read these small lines. Build a maze with more than one exit. They have to be as far apart as possible. All critters will start to move to one exit. When they are close (not too close or you'll get a 'blocked' messages), build a turret to block the way for them. Once its completed, the critters will return to the other exit. Remove the turret again and build one at the other exit. Repeat this process until every critter is killed. You'll win hands down.

(I know I've played these games too often) :D
