Found a rather interesting little game here while browsing around. This game is said to a clone of games like Worms, Soldat or Liero.

Some neat graphics combined with a cool little map editor and the GPL-ed source!

Delphi and DelphiX were both used in it's development back in 2006.

Check it out at crashpoint.sourceforge.net (http://crashpoint.sourceforge.net/)!

Looks pretty good!

It apparently was made (and mentioned earlier) by igel457 (http://www.pascalgamedevelopment.com/viewtopic.php?t=4123&highlight=).

Hi,

I'm working on a newer version of CrashPoint using Andorra 2D. (I already ported it as a test, but I want to rewrite the whole code.) CrashPoint was the game which made me starting Andorra 2D, because (un)DelphiX got to slow.

Things I want to do:

- Use Andorra 2D
- Use Newton for physical effects
- Render a good looking terrain with procedural generated objects
- Use 3D models for Boxes, Actors etc...
- Add multiplayer
- Full script support

You'll find a preview of my new sourcecode here: http://crashpoint.cvs.sourceforge.net/crashpoint/CrashPoint-devel-new/

Thanks for finding the game ;-),
Andreas

PS: The game makes a lot of fun if you are two or more human players.
