The Next Generation Object Pascal for .NET and Mono just got even better. RemObjects Software is happy to announce the release of version 2.0.1 of Chrome 'Joyride', its award-winning Object Pascal compiler for the Microsoft.NET and Novel Mono platforms.

Chrome 'Joyride' seamlessly integrates into the new Visual Studio 2008 (currently available as Beta 2), while also maintaining support for Visual Studio 2005 and Visual Studio .NET 2003, making it possible to target all platforms with Chrome, from .NET 1.1 to 3.5, as well as Mono and
Portable.NET.
New language features introduced in 'Joyride' include Sequences and Queries that allow developers to write intuitive query based code to work with databases and local collections alike, Enhanced Nullable Types that integrate this .NET 2.0 feature more seamlessly and intuitively than
any other .NET language and a new Colon ":" Operator that enables very concise yet intuitive code in an unprecedented fashion.
New framework features supported by Chrome 'Joyride' include Windows Presentation Foundation, the new User Interface development paradigm for the Microsoft Windows platform, Windows Communication Foundation, as well as the upcoming LINQ technology. This makes Chrome the
first language to provide release-level non-beta support for .NET 3.5 features such as Lambda Expressions, Extension Methods, Anonymous Types and of course Queries.
