Here is my entry into the CodeGear Video Competition! I'm sure that you will find an impressive catalog of games that have been made over the last 3-5 years. ;)

I can give you a higher resolution copy of the video if you would like. I just won't offer it online as that has been quite the problem lately.

UPDATE: Scoring system works like this;

Each view = 10 points!
Each Favorite = 25 points!

I'm glad everyone has liked it so far. The truth behind this video is that these are still not all the cool games made with Delphi or Pascal as a whole for that matter. Some I couldn't record or where not available to me and others I just ran out of room for. (Age of Wonders 1-3, HeroX, Guns Reloaded, Top Down City, Siege of Avalon and so on...)


Also thanks to everyone that has voted me 5 stars and added me to their favorites. If you haven't already please do so so that I can give first place a run for it's money. ;)

Heck it might even just work to promote PGD it's self.

Hey guys, I was just noticing the qualities of these videos and how much better this one looks at 640x480.

I tell you what... If you post my YouTube version on your blog or web site, I'll send you a copy of the larger higher res version. :) That sounds fair, no?

The 640x480 vid is much nicer. You can see the end credits effect made by Jan Horn is a lot cleaner. It is 58.6 MB in size though. Not to big considering.

I just realized that some of you guys might not know how the contest scoring system works. :)

David I. is going to take all of the YouTube view and favorite counts and the number of FULL stars of my voted rating and put them through a 'scoring algorithm'.

It works like this:

each view = 10 points

each favorite = 25 points

and each full star of my YouTube rating = 100 points.


So far I'm way behind in the points so I need as many people as possible to favorite my video if I'm going to have a hope of winning. So if you watn me to win, get your YouTube accounts logged into and favorite my video. I notice that some people haven't yet. :(

It actually takes no time at all all you have to do once you have you've logged in is click on Save to Favorites and hit 'Ok' and I'm 25 points higher in the standing. ;)

of course frequent viewing helps so if you post the video elsewhere that's gonna help a lot too. (Big thanks Alex and Michiel! ;) --also the only 2 that will be getting the high res version of my video so far...)
